Snowball Fight!

So, yesterday, the tri-state area was blanketed in snow, forcing NYC public schools to close for the first time in five years. Mason spent the day at daycare, but when Mommy came home we headed out of a little frigid fun. It wasn't great snowball weather, but as you can see, Mason managed to find a few hunks of white stuff to hurl at his Mommy!

I exacted revenge by hurling him into a snowbank. He attempted to make a snow angel.



And here are the rosy cheeks (and runny nose) that proved it was time to head back inside for a cup of hot chocolate, a little cuddling time and a story. Not a bad gig to come home to!

Well Bundled

It's been frigid here in the Northeast -- though the temperature was 41 degrees when I woke up this morning, so for one day I can't complain. Anyway, the dipping temps did necessitate a crafty weekend, as a made the Macey Man a scarf to bundle himself in. Here he is after our early morning Saturday swimming lessons looking oh-so-cute.

First Snow!

Winter (and by that I mean snow, we've already had our share of cold!) arrived in New York today. There were snow flurries off and on all day, but by the time karate class was dismissed at 7, it was coming down pretty good!

The kiddos were all bundled up and snuggled down in the four-seater.



Mason tried to catch some flakes on his tongue.























Kellyn was so comfy and unaffected, she fell right asleep. Maybe I need to get me one of those snowsuits!
